Mike Midgen from M2X Ltd raises money for the Jubilee Sailing Trust 2

On a lovely August Sunday afternoon at Gunwharf Quays Mike Midgen from M2X Ltd kindly volunteered to abseil down the Spinnaker Tower to help raise much needed charitable funds for the Jubilee Sailing Trust in Portsmouth.

The Jubilee Sailing Trust is a registered charity whose mission is to promote the integration of people of all physical abilities through the challenge and adventure of tall ship sailing aboard two very special ships, Lord Nelson and Tenacious.

The Spinnaker Tower is 170 metres tall which is higher than the London Eye, Blackpool Tower and Big Ben with fantastic views of the Portsmouth Harbour, the Solent and the Isle of Wight.

Following the completion of the abseil down the Spinnaker Tower Mike Midgen from M2X Ltd managed to raise more than his original targeted total of £200 on the Just Giving website and in total all the abseilers raised over £4500 for the charity.
